• Luncheon and panel discussion with CEDAW Experts (members of the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women).
• Monthly meetings with U.N. and government speakers.
• Annual “Women Who Make a Difference” Awards Luncheon to honor women ambassadors at the U.N.
• Maintenance of a website and several e-mail list serves.

The NGO Committee on the Status of Women, (a 501(c)3) charitable corporation in the State of New York, was established in 1972 as a substantive committee of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Status with the United Nations (CONGO).

Donating your time

If you are interested in donating your time the NGO Committee on the Status of Women NY often needs volunteers for the above activities particularly assisting with logistics and administration, as well as with translation and other activities. Please call the CSW NGO NY at (212) 867-6161
