NGO Parallel Events During CSW 54
The process for securing NGO parallel event space is as follows:
- Application. The deadline for applying for a parallel event was December 31, 2009. Applications are now closed.
- Notification. Organizations will be notified (via email) of the status of their applications by January 15, 2010 and offered a date and time for their events. Notification emails will include information on the event location.
- Confirmation. To secure the space, organizations must submit payments by January 30, 2010. As soon as payment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that we can only accept the $75 fee after your organization has received a notification email (to be sent in mid-January) offering a time and date for your parallel event. If you opted to serve refreshments, a $200 cleaning fee will be added to your total at confirmation. Projector rentals will be available for an additional $150.00 fee. Rentals will be available mid-February.

After your application for a parallel event is submitted, we will make every effort to accommodate your request for time and space.
In order to accommodate as many requests as possible, all time slots for NGO parallel events are 1 hour, 30 minutes.
