Showcasing women’s increasing involvement in the Green Economy, including
examples of new entrepreneurial ventures and micro-financing programs. The
focus will be on capitalizing upon women’s potential and experiences as innova-
tors and agents of change in regards to adapting to and mitigating climate
change and identifying strategies for bringing them into the mainstream, going
beyond why it is important to empower women in this area to a discussion of
how it is being done.
