Leadership Team Marni Hamilton (Office Coordinator) Marni has been with the NGO/CSW/NY since August 2010 and is excited to participate in her second CSW!   She completed her B.A. in Liberal Arts at St. John's College, Santa Fe, and her pre-health studies at Columbia University.  She is currently applying to graduate programs and hopes to work in primary care, community health and nutrition, always with an eye to the needs of women. Lyna Castillo-Javier (Communications Coordinator) Maureen Shaw (Electronic Media Manager) Maureen recently completed her Master’s degree in Human Rights at Columbia University with a focus on Women’s and Gender Rights, and is the founder of sherights.com. She also writes for FeministsforChoice.com. When she’s not busy blogging about women’s issues, she is advocating for the women and girls of New York City in her role as Legislative Vice President for the National Organization for Women’s NYC Chapter. Fall/Spring 2011-2012 Staff Sofia Pantel (Media/Communications, Team Lead) Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she is due to graduate in May 2012 with an M.A. in Diplomacy from Seton Hall University she is concentrating in Conflict Negotiation. She graduated with a B.A in Anthropology from Haverford College. Vanessa Sayajon (Event Planning) From Bergenfield, New Jersey, she currently is pursuing a Masters of Science in Urban Policy and Management at the New School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Northeastern University. Yvonne Feiger (Event Planning) Yvonne recently moved to New York City from Vienna, Austria to complete her Masters in International Education at the New York University. In her function as University Senator at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development she takes an active role in university politics and is member of the Student Senators Council and the University Senate. Jill Lally (Event Planning) Ayelet Hanfling (Event Planning) Tabitha Wood (Media/Communications) Tabitha is a senior at Columbia University, where she studies sustainable development and creative writing. Before coming to NGO CSW, she interned at Women for Women International, Polaris Project, and The Washington Post. She is the founder of the student advocacy group, Students to End Modern Slavery (STEMS). At eighteen she published a children's book called "That's What Makes Me Special," available on Amazon.com. Tabitha is a graduate of Washington International School in Washington, DC. Heba has a Masters Degree in Political Science from the Graduate School of Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey. Calla Hastings (Communications) Currently an undergrad at Bowdoin College. She is studying Sociology and Gender and Women's Studies. Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, Calla currently lives in southern Maine. Amanda Matos (History) From the Bronx, New York and is currently a junior at Columbia University. She is studying Human Rights and Race and Ethnicity. Vanessa Sayajon (Membership) From Bergenfield, New Jersey.  She currently is pursuing a Masters of Science in Urban Policy and Management at the New School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Northeastern University. Orly Treitman (Web Development) Undergraduate student getting a combined degree in communications, legal studies, economics and government at American University; previously attended Franklin College, Switzerland; from New York, now living in Washington, DC.
